150 ILLEGALS DETAINEDBY NATION REPORTERTHE Department of Immigration yesterday apprehended 150 suspected immigrants from different nationalities during its clean-up operation in Lusaka.The department’s public relations office Namati Nshinka disclosed that the suspects were being screened at Edwin Imboela Stadium to produce documentation proving that their entry and stay in Zambia was legal. Mr Nshinka said out of the 154 suspects, 94 have been detained pending immigration formalities and possible prosecution. He also said that during the operation, an American couple was arrested when cannabis was found in their Ibex Hill residence and handed over to the DEC.
