By MICHAEL MIYOBAMINISTER of Youth Sports and Arts Elvis Nkandu has directed the department of child development to come up with a permanent solution to address the plights of children leaving in the streets.Mr. Nkandu said the surging number of children living in the streets requires a lasting solution despite the ministry having been implementing and facilitating the removal of children in the streets by providing skill training through a memorandum of understanding with the Zambia National Service.The Kaputa Member of Parliament said he was concerned with the growing 13000 number of children living in the streets.Speaking when he addressed Ministry of Sports officials, Nkandu challenged ministry of sports officials to work hard and orient themselves with the UPND manifesto.
