By OLIVER SAMBOKOKABUSHI Member of Parliament Bowman Lusambo yesterday raised a point over US President Joe Biden’s alleged negative comments on Zambia’s August 12, general election.However, Speaker Nelly Mutti ruled Mr Lusambo out of order because the matter he was raising could not be admissable under the Standing Order 134 of 2021.During his speech, the US President praised Zambian youths for voting out what he termed corrupt regime.Mr Lusambo said he was concerned that government has remained quiet when President Biden alluded to the just ended general election and made negative comments on Zambia during his UN General Assembly address.“Madam Speaker, is the leader of government business in the house in order to keep quiet when the country has been embarrassed by other world leaders,” Mr Lusambo said in his point of order.He said the US President has no right to embarrass another country adding that Mr Biden should concentrate on sorting out issues in […]
