IT IS A WITCH- HUNT TO PURSUE ECL, SAYS KALABAIT is a witch-hunt for certain Members of Parliament to call for the removal of the immunity of head of State, Edgar Lungu, Democratic Party president Harry Kalaba has said.Mr Kalaba said it was unfortunate that politicians wanted to champion the cause of removing the immunity of the former head of State instead of letting the relevant authorities do their job.He said that lifting the former president’s immunity was not important at the moment so politicians needed to stop pushing the agenda for their personal gratification.“There are a number of investigative wings in the country, I feel we should let them do their job and if there is anything fishy, they will come forward,” he said.Mr Kalaba said he had a problem with politicians pushing the agenda because it was more like a witch-hunt rather than a genuine cause.He said the fight against corruption was needed […]
