The Copperbelt University (CBU) has instituted investigations into reports of sexual harassment of some female students by lecturers in exchange for better results at the institution.And Pheonix FM has reported that over 50 Copperbelt University-CBU- students last night attempted to protest against the nonpayment of meal allowances by blocking Jambo drive before they succumbed to reason from university management.ZNBC’s Clinton Masumba reported that CBU vice Chancellor Professor NAISON NGOMA has encouraged students who may have been harassed to use the existing channels to report any wrong doings.This is after Some Students at CBU took to social media to complain about alleged sexual harassment by some lectures in exchange for better results and academic overload which has allegedly led to some committing suicide.Speaking at a media briefing in Kitwe today Professor NGOMA, dismissed the allegations stating that such claims have not been reported to any office at the Institution of Higher Learning.And CBU Dean of Students […]
