OUT of 1, 200 teachers who have been recruited, 347 of them are persons living with disabilities who met the qualifications, Teaching Service Commission (TSC) chairperson Stanley Mhango has disclosed. Mr Mhango said the recruitment process went through human resource management committees in all the districts. He said that the TSC revised the service conditions of 1973 to allow a decentralised recruitment process in all the parts of the country. Mr Mhango explained that the recruitment exercise met the criteria as it was done in a transparent and dignified manner.
