By ANDREW MUKOMATHE PF in Southern Province has pledged to offer constructive checks and balances to the UPND government for the sake of national development. According to the former ruling party, ‘two wrongs do not make a right’. Provincial Information and Publicity Secretary, Trymore Mwenda, told the Daily Nation that Zambians should give the UPND government enough time to deliver campaign promises.“We will offer different checks and balances based on constructive criticism meant to build because we believe the UPND’s success will be good for all Zambians. “We will not drive an agenda to make the UPND fail but work with them to deliver to the Zambian people because combining efforts will be for the benefit of the country,” he said.Mr Mwenda noted that certain quarters of society were calling on the UPND government to immediately effect free education, reduce the cost of farming inputs and increase salaries for civil servants among others.‘We however, hold […]
