POWER CUT TEMPORARILY DISRUPTS BALLOT COUNTING IN MANDEVUTHE counting of ballot papers was on Thursday night delayed by two hours at Mulimi B Polling Station in Lusaka’s Mandevu constituency after a truck cut a service cable that supplies power to the Mine- stone Secondary School where the polling station is.Polling agent, Thabo Sibongi, said that power was cut short around 20:45 hours as counting was ongoing.She told the Daily Nation that there was confusing in the first few minutes as all the officials and monitors panicked to protect the ballot boxes. Ms Sibongi said poll- ing assistants and monitors at the polling station tried to help by us- ing flash lights from their phones to ensure that the ballot paperswere safe.
