BY NATION REPORTERINSPECTOR General of Police Kakoma Kanganja has not been fired. Reacting to rumours circulating on social media that he had been dismissed, Mr Kanganja said he has not been fired. He said when time comes, he would be fired in a proper manner. “IG fired! The president doesn’t fire through unauthorized individuals. When time comes it will be properly done. It is the prerogative of the President not disgruntled characters with no bearing in society.“When time (comes), I will bid farewell like Madam Katongo says; what goes up must come down! No ill feeling at all,” Mr Kanganja wrote this in the Zambia Police WhatsApp group meant for interaction with journalists.
