MMD presidential candidate Nevers Mumba has refuted claims that has received a whooping one million dollars so that he can pull out of Thursday’s presidential race.Mumba bemoaned at a briefing that he believed the rumours of the purported withdrawal were being circulated by some wings in the PF who wanted to sabotage his elections chances.Mumba accused president Lungu of spearheading former water and Sanitation minister Raphael Nakacinda’s recent political crusade against his leadership.He observed that president Lungu had rewarded with ministerial appointment, everyone that attempted to dislodge MMD, in reference to Nakacinda and former works and supply minister, Felix Mutati.Mumba warned that God would not overlook President Lungu’s acts of sabotage on him, since 2015.Mumba however admitted to having threatened the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) at a meeting he held to complain about the PF’s claim that it was in an alliance with MMD if something was not done.“The rumour of our possible withdrawal, […]
