Dear editor,I implore people to continue adhering to the Covid 19 health prevention guidelines despite a reduction in the coronavirus pandemic. Zambia has in the recent past been recording reduced cases of Covid 19.The reduction in the number of coronavirus cases can be attributed to the much sensitisation by the Ministry of Health authority encouraging people to mask up, washing hands with soap, sanitising, observing social distancing, avoiding overcrowded places and getting vaccinated.The admission cases of Covid 19 patients in the health facilities have also reduced. This is good news but people should not be too reluctant to overlook the health prevention guidelines.The reduction in the number of coronavirus cases can also be attributed to the change of weather as the days are getting warmer.
