By CHARLES MUSONDAPATRIOTIC Front (PF) member and businessman Francis Muchemwa has demanded that the Zambia Police Service issue a public statement through its spokesperson to clear his name over various allegations of criminal offences levelled against him.In a letter addressed to the Attorney General’s Chambers, his lawyer TutwaNgulube says Mr. Muchemwa has suffered a serious prejudice and risks being killed by mobs that may mistake him for a fugitive when in fact not.Mr. Ngulube said Mr. Muchemwa is demanding for an official statement from the Zambia Police Spokesperson as to whether there is a murder investigation or he is a suspect as maliciously alleged by PF cadre Innocent Kalimashi or not.He said during a by-election in Kaoma in 2019, Mr. Muchemwa was maliciously accused of having killed a person using a firearm when in fact not.
