Wina tips women, youth on business

Vice President Inonge Wina has encouraged women to engage in business activities.Ms. Wina said women need to be empowered financially to contribute to the economy of the country.The Vice President said Village Banking is one way in which women and youths can empower themselves financially to attain economic independence.She disclosed this when she toured Mongu Central Market this afternoon.Meanwhile, the Vice President has applauded youths at the Mongu Main Market for not engaging in violence, as the country heads to the polls on August 12.She pledged to donate iron sheets towards the construction of a building initiated by youths at the Mongu Main Market.– ZNBC
