By SIMON MUNTEMBA IN the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Patriotic Front (PF) will today launch virtual rallies to reach out to people through television, radio and social-media networks.PF media director, Antonio Mwanza announced in a statement that the planned launch of virtual rallies would be held today (Sunday, July 18) and would be officiated by PF Secretary General, Mr Davies Mwila.He explained that the event which shall be held weekly would be streamed live on major television, radio and social-media networks.“The inaugural virtual rally will be held at Mulungushi International Conference and has attracted speakers such as Godfrey Bwalya Mwamba, popularly as GBM, Chishimba Kambwili, Dr. Canisius Banda, Raphael Nakachinda and Lusaka spirant Mayor, Chilando Chitanga among others,” Mr Mwanza said.He said only 50 people would be allowed at the inaugural venue, while the rest would attend and participate virtually in line with the COVID-19 guidelines as outlined by the Ministry of Health.
