By SIMON MUNTEMBATHE Patriotic Front (PF) is stronger in Lusaka, and claims by South Africa’s University of Cape Town that it has lost grip is just propaganda to sway the people’s mind, says PF provincial chairperson, Kennedy Kamba.In an interview, Mr Kamba said the recent performance in the by-elections in the region was an indicator of how strong the ruling party was.He accused UPND president, Hakainde Hichilema, of having rushed to South Africa “to scavenge for something from some university friends and to try and counter facts that were published last week that President Edgar Lungu will win.”His remarks come after South Africa’s University of Cape Town’s Afro-barometer survey indicated that “identification with PF in Lusaka reduced by more than half between 2017 and 2020, while this doubled for the UPND from 11 to 19 percent during the same period.”Mr Kamba described the report as mere hallucinations aimed at swaying the people’s minds and urged […]
