By PETER SICHALIA 24-year-old man of Chama district has been killed by a lion, Muchinga Province Commissioner of Police Lizzy Machina has said.Ms Machina said the incident happened on Wednesday at 23:00 hours in Machemba village of Chama District.She indentified the victim as Set Mwale 24 of Machemba Village of Chief Chifunda was attacked and killed by Lions.Ms Machina said lion which attacked and killed has since been killed by wild life officers.She said a combined team of police and National Parks and wildlife officers at Chama was searching for some human body parts of the victim.“Brief facts of the matter are that on 07/07/2021 at around 23: 00 hours, Set Mwale went on a drinking spree at Chifunda village until around 23:00 hours when he became drunk and incapable,” she said.Ms Machina said Mwale was seen walking towards his village in a drunken state.She said the remains of the deceased were found along the […]
