By ADRIAN MWANZAGOVERNMENT will today roll-out the newly acquired Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 vaccines in Lusaka, Health Permanent Secretary Kennedy Malama has said.Dr Malama said that other towns would have to wait for Government to deliver after starting with the capital city.He said that the ministry was targeting to get over 4 million Johnsons and Johnsons vaccines before the end of the third quarter.‘’ I can confirm that the administering of the Johnsons and Johnsons will commence tomorrow Friday July 23 for Lusaka while the other towns will have to wait a bit,’’ he said.Meanwhile, Dr Malama said Government was committed to ensuring that Covid-19 was brought under control sooner than later and had put in place measures like recruiting health workers on short-term basis.He said the ministry was working with a number of stakeholders who were support the recruitment of short-term health workers to respond to Covid-19.Dr Malama said the World Bank contributed 573, […]
