By BUUMBA CHIMBULUFIRST National Bank (FNB) Zambia has partnered with National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) to collect insurance premiums using the bank’s digital platforms.The digital collection of insurance premiums was aligned to the FNB Zambia’s commitment to investing in technology.This will result in the provision of convenient and financially inclusive payment solutions.FNB Zambia chief executive officer, Bydon Longwe, said this during the signing of the digital partnership agreement in Lusaka yesterday.“We are excited to partner with NHIMA on the e-payment solution because digitisation and usage of alternative channels is FNB Zambia’s key focus.“The bank continues to invest in technology as we position ourselves as a provider of future-fit innovative financial solutions,” Mr Longwe said.He said with more than 80 per cent of customers signed up on digital channels, FNB fully understood the competitive edge that robust, efficient digital platforms would create real help to enhance NHIMA’s health service delivery.“This will provide convenience for the […]
