By SENIYA BANDAPresident Edgar Lungu has declared April 28 a public holiday, in honour of first Republican President Dr Kenneth Kaunda who was born on that day in 1924.And President Lungu has urged family members of the late Dr Kaunda to remain united and uphold his legacy of unity.Meanwhile Dr Kaunda was yesterday put to rest at the presidential burial site, Embassy Park.Speaking during the church service preceding the burial of Dr Kaunda at a church service earlier held at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross President Edgar Lungu says Dr Kaunda’s life will forever be celebrated by generations to come.President Lungu has also urged the Kaunda family to continue living in peace and harmony adding that Dr Kaunda’s story will be told for generations to come.He has also thanked Zambians for heeding to the call to observe social distancing and watch the funeral proceedings from their homes.In attendance during the church service were several […]
