By Kunda Kunda President Edgar Lungu has urged judges to uphold the tenets of uprightness and deal with political cases without fear.The President said this yesterday when he swore in 10 judges, bringing the number of judges to 51 .The President said he has done so in the interest of improving Zambia’s Justice System and urges the sworn in Judges to uphold tenets of uprightness.President Lungu said the appointed Judges will lighten the work load that currently exists in the judicial system and consequently quicken dispensation of Justice to Zambians.He says the appointments are in line with his Government’s policy of career progression in the public service.He urges the Judges to use their previous experiences in the administration of justice to improve service delivery in the courts.The President was speaking at State House this morning when he swore in the 10 high Court Judges.The sworn in Judges include Mrs Dorcas Munkombwe Malama, Mr. Charles Kafunda, […]
