Dear Editor,ZAMBIA is one of the countries that have been hit by Covid-19. More than 1, 000 people have died from the coronavirus since the pandemic broke out last year in March. The number of people who contracted coronavirus in Zambia is almost 100, 000.Zambia should brace for the third wave of the Covid-19 which is more deadly than other forms recorded in the country so far. Our country has in the recent past recorded a spike in the coronavirus disease.In the period leading to last Thursday, Zambia recorded 825 Covid-19 cases from 10, 949 tests conducted. This figure of coronavirus pandemic was too big to be recorded in a single day.The country is expected to witness a surge in coronavirus cases in a few weeks’ time as the temperature continues to drop because of the cold season.
