By Mulenga Musonda A witness testified in the Choma Magistrates Court on how his vehicle was broken into right at a Police Station and a phone worth over K2, 000 stolen.Maybin Malama was testifying in a matter in which he has accused Eugene Mudenda 34, who barely three weeks ago was discharged from court for theft of K700 for running away with his phone.In this matter Eugene Caristo Mudenda of Choma’s Overspill Township is charged with one count of Theft from Motor Vehicle contrary to the laws of Zambia.Allegations are that Mudenda stole one Cell Phone from a stationary Toyota Vitz valued at K2, 400 the property of Maybin Malama.The alleged theft from a motor vehicle happened on May 31, 2021 right at the Police Station in Choma district of Southern province.When the matter came up for trial before Senior Resident Magistrate Peter Mungala, Malama testified that after parking and accidentally leaving his phone in the […]
