By MICHAEL MIYOBAThe Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has invoked the process of de-registration of Napsa Stars Queens following a request from the club to have its membership withdrawn from the Lusaka Province League.FAZ general secretary Adrian Kashala confirmed the development in a statement issued by FAZ Communications Manager Sydney Mungala.According to FAZ, Napsa Stars requested that their club be withdrawn from the FAZ league citing internal challenges.Meanwhile, in a letter to Napsa Stars dated June 18, 2021, Kashala directed Napsa Stars to meet all its obligations to its players and technical bench before the dissolution of the team.“We regret that this has happened at the time CAF is deliberating on compulsory women teams for all teams participating in the CAF Inter-Club competition,” Kashala said.“However, we will go ahead and follow the constitutional procedure of de-registration as the club was recently admitted as a member of FAZ at the last Annual General Meeting held in […]
