By MICHAEL MIYOBATHERE has been more drama in the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) with its general secretary Adrian Kashala sent on administrative leave.This follows the confusion which saw the association docking three points from Young Green Eagles which were awarded to Nkana for the Kitwe outfit to survive relegation.FAZ president Andrew Kamanga said the FAZ secretariat had no authority to deal and provide ruling for Nkana’s complaint on Young Green Eagles’ alleged use of an ineligible player, the suspension of Indeni Football Club coach Mwenya Chipepo and the suspension of Kashikishi Warriors for physically abusing match officials.In a statement, Kamanga noted that the FAZ executive committee through the emergency committee convened a meeting on June 23, 2021 to deliberate on the cases and the secretariat was represented by Kashala.Kamanga said the three cases which Kashala provided ruling for should have been referred to the relevant judicial bodies because the secretariat had no authority to […]
