By NATION REPORTERTHE Bar and Night Club Owners Association says they are willing to suspend or reduce operating hours following the spike in Covid-19 cases provided the government provides relief packages.The association’s secretary general, Mr Edmond Lifwekelo said the sector was adversely affected during the second wave when bars and night clubs were closed and that any similar action might be devastating.Mr Lifwekelo said the association is willing to suspend the operating hours provided the government comes to the plight of the operators through a relief package.He said there is need to take into consideration on how much the sector has been contributing to the national treasury as well as the employment sector.
