By SANFROSSA MANYINDATHE Chingola Municipal Council has reminded the public that all political gatherings are not allowed unless cleared by the council and Zambia Police in light of the Covid-19 guidelines given by the Ministry of Health.Council acting-Assistant Public Relations Manager Nambela Mwandia said all parties involved in social gatherings such as weddings , birthday parties needed to acquire a permit from the council before holding their celebrations.Ms Mwandia said it was the council’s plight to see that people adhered to the Covid-19 health guidelines of masking up and social distancing.“We however call on those that are willing to test for the virus to freely do so through the help of the Ministry of Health.Ms Mwandia said the exercise was mandated to control and prevention of the pandemic at the council.She added that the local authority’s sensitization program was a clear indicator that it was both concerned for the well being of its workers and […]
