By PETER SICHALIZAMBIA Revenue Authority (ZRA) has suspended over 100 clearing companies in Nakonde that took part in the protest over Clearing Agents Management Module (CAMM), Nakonde clearing Agents Association vice chairperson Mutale Mulenga has said.Mr Mulenga said all the 133 companies that signed on the petition to ZRA against the Clearing Agent Management Module (CAMM) have been suspended and cannot perform any transactions.“Clearing companies for all those agents that signed on the petition have their companies suspended by ZRA,” Mr Mulenga said.Meanwhile, ZRA Corporate Communications Manager Topsy Sikalinda said the suspension of companies has nothing to do with the protest by clearing agents.Mr Sikalinda said the suspended companies had breached the law.He said ZRA had warned that anyone interrupting operations was not ready to work with it.“We warned that anyone interrupting operations is not ready to work with us because that is tantamount to economic sabotage,” Mr Sikalinda said.He said suspension of a few […]
