By OLIVER SAMBOKOTHE UPND has distanced itself from social media reports suggesting that it has entered into a secret pact with the newly formed Movement for Democratic Change(MDC) led by Felix Mutati.UPND spokesperson, Cornelius Mweetwa, said in an interview there was no pact with the MDC and advised the public to ignore such misinformation. “As a party, we are not aware of the MDC alliance and no document has been drafted and circulated to that effect,” he said in a telephone interview.But according reports circulating on social media, the two opposition parties were said to have entered into a political pact ahead of the August 12 general election.
