By IRVIN MUYUMBWATHE United Truck Drivers and Allied Workers Union of Zambia has bemoaned the high toll fees at the newly commissioned Kazungula bridge for motorists which is likely to increase the cost of doing business. The union’s President, Mr Givers Shampule said in as much as the development was progressive, the high toll fees would likely trigger high prices of imported products because of what could be an expected rise in cost of business for motorists using the bridge.Mr Shampule said Government should consider revising the toll fees downwards to make them cost effective for the motorists using the route. The Zambia Revenue Authority was mandated to collect toll fees at the Kazungula One Stop Border Post where motorcycles would pay K150, passenger vehicles K350, 16-seater mini buses K450 and light trucks K550.
