By SIMON MUNTEMBASIX Patriotic Front district and constituency officials in Chilanga have been suspended for alleged misconduct during filing in of the nomination of Ms Annie Brown as Chilanga District Council chairperson.Announcing their suspension at a press briefing in Lusaka yesterday, PF Secretary-General Davies Mwila said his office has decided to suspend the six officials for having spearheaded the confusion that erupted during the filing in of the nomination of Ms Brown.Mr Mwila named the suspended six officials as district chairperson Daniel Sikabnyika, vice district chairperson Francis Malauni, and district youth chairperson Eosebio Simbao.Others are Chilanga North constituency youth chairperson Enock Chiwati, Chilanga South constituency chairperson Gilbert Mafuti and his vice Augustine Zulu.“The suspensions are indefinite and I am hereby directing all those affected to immediately surrender all party property in their possession,” Mr Mwila said.He warned that he would not condone any form of indiscipline, violence or lawlessness from any member.Mr Mwila said PF […]
