A MOVEMENT aimed at spearheading the merging of teacher unions in the country, has been formed.Movement for Restoration of Teachers Affairs (MORETA) national coordinator, Samuel Mbumba said the movement has already been registered.Dr. Mbumba said MORETA is aimed at ensuring that teachers have one voice.He added that the movement has already started engaging teacher unions on possibilities of merging.Dr. Mbumba said the movement want to see all the teacher unions to come together for the benefit of their members.He said having one teachers’ union will improve the bargaining power during negotiations for improved conditions of service. – ZNBC.
