By MICHAEL MIYOBAZAMBIA Sports Fans Association (ZASPOFA) patron Peter Makembo is tomorrow expected to be discharged after spending five weeks at Lusaka’s St Johns Paul Orthopaedic Mission Hospital where he underwent a successful spinal surgery.Makembo has hailed President Edgar Lungu who he said has been sending officials from State House to encourage him as he recovers from a spinal operation.He said he is looking forward to be discharged so that he can continue recovering from home. Meanwhile Makembo has hailed FAZ for lining up crucial friendly matches for the Zambia national soccer team and the Copper Queens ahead of the AFCON qualifiers slated for September and June respectively.FAZ has clinched international friendly matches for the Chipolopolo who will play Senegal on June 5 while the Copper Queens will face Mozambique on May 30.Makembo said the friendly matches will give the technical benches an insight of where the teams needs reinforcement ahead of the qualifiers.He said the […]
