By ANDREW MUKOMAKAZUNGULA Town Council has called on the private sector to consider investing in the district now that the Kazungula Bridge Project has been completed and earmarked for commissioning next week.Council Secretary, Mwiche Mudala, bemoaned lack of private sector in the district inspite of many investment opportunities.Mr Mudala said the districts was yearning for more investment to go along with the modern bridge linking Zambia and Botswana.In an interview yesterday Mr Mudala explained that the nature of Kazungula district was that of tourism but lacked infrastructure such as lodges, hotels and shopping malls.“It is indeed an exciting time for Kazungula, we have received an avalanche of dignitaries. It also shows the interest that the government has placed in strategic districts like ours.
