The Biomedical Union of Zambia (BMUZ) says it will not be part of the go slow which the Resident Doctors Association of Zambia declared yesterday.BMUZ President Daniel Mwimbe has since called for calm among members stating that the union is in talks with government and there was a positive response.Mr. Mwimbe said the decision by the President of RDAZ was taken in a rush because such a decision can only be made if there is a deadlock.He told Journalists at a Press briefing yesterday that as it stands government has opened its doors and is meeting various unions.He has assured members of Biomedical Union of Zambia that he will meet with government on Monday to assess how the disbursement of funds will be conducted.Mr. Mwimbe said he understands that there are employee grievances, but it is important that the law be followed in carrying out certain decisions to ensure the patients are not disadvantaged.Meanwhile PF […]
