By BUUMBA CHIMBULUIN an effort to deliver digital financial services across the country, 50 additional Airtel mobile money branches have been opened in five provinces of the country.The additional branches have been opened on the Copperbelt, Central, Lusaka, Northern, and Southern provinces, bringing digital financial services closer to the communities and join a network of over 700 Airtel Money branches spread across Zambia.The Airtel Money branches are part of Airtel Zambia’s drive to deliver financial inclusion across the country by bringing mobile money services closer to local communities.Airtel Zambia Sales and Distribution Director, Andrew Chuma, said the launch of the new branches was aimed to improve and enhance the provision of mobile money services.Mr Chuma said these branches would support businesses in digitising transactions without having to spend money on transportation and drive the progress towards a cashless economy.He stressed that expanding Airtel Money services to remote areas of Zambia provided an opportunity to grow […]
