4 TWIM PALM PUPILS HAVE CASE TO ANSWER IN RYAN’S MURDER

By GRACE CHAILE LESOETSA                                                                                                                                                                                   FOUR former Twin Palm Secondary School pupils accused of killing 17-year-old Ryan Phiri using golf sticks last year have been found with a case to answer by the Lusaka High Court.In this matter, Nsokolo is charged with three juveniles of killing a Kabulonga Boys Secondary school Grade 12 pupil, Ryan on December 4, 2020. The quartet however denied the charge of murder. Eleven witnesses testified in the matter.Judge Sharon Newa in her ruling yesterday said the evidence in court indicated that there was a fracas involving the two schools that resulted in the assault and consequent death of Ryan.Ms Justice Newa said in as much as she was alive to the submissions made by the State that only Nsokolo was positively identified as having been at the scene of crime by witnesses, however the evidence given by the arresting officer with regard the investigations established that there is a case to answer.She […]
