By SANFROSSA MANYINDAGREEN Party leader, Peter Sinkamba, has advised fellow politicians to avoid discrediting the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ). He said it was unfair to allege that the ECZ was a surrogate of the ruling Patriotic Front (PF).Mr Sinkamba said that all citizens should build confidence in the institution to have a credible electoral process. “In as much as we agree that there are several shortcomings in the manner in which the ECZ has handled the electoral process, this should not be the reason we should discredit the institution and call it names,” he said in an interview in Kitwe yesterday.Mr Sinkamba said discrediting the reputation of the institution in a manner which would make the international community think that the institution was not capable to handle elections should be discouraged by all citizens.
