By SIMON MUNTEMBATHE Central Committee of the Patriotic Front (PF) has unanimously endorsed President Edgar Lungu as preferred candidate for the position of party President at the forthcoming general conference, PF Secretary General, Davis Mwila has said. Mr Mwila however said the resolution to endorse President Lungu by the Central Committee does not stop anyone from contesting the position of Party president. “I am pleased to announce that the Central Committee of the PF has unanimously endorsed President Edgar Lungu as our preferred candidate for the position of party President at the forthcoming general conference,” Mr Mwila told journalists in Lusaka yesterday at a press briefing.
