By SANFROSSA MANYINDATHE Patriotic Front (PF) has urged all members to take advantage of the extension of the voter registration verification exercise to verify their particulars and ensure that everything on their voter’s cards is correct.Copperbelt PF acting chairman, Bernard Zulu, said this would ensure that unnecessary problems were avoided as the country goes to the polls on August 12, this year. The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) started the process of physical verification of voters on March, 29 to April 2, 2021.But due to stakeholders’outcry, the ECZ extended the physical inspection of the provisional register of voters by five days from April 3 to April 7, this year. “The extension should be promoted as it has several advantages such as if the registered voter wants to change their polling stations, they were able to,” Mr Zulu said.
