By ROGERS KALEROCORRUPTION has heightened in the UPND primary adoption process in Lufwanyama constituency process where huge sums of money are exchanging hands between aspiring candidates and party officials, former Lufwanyama Member of Parliament Eddie Kasukumya has said.Mr Kasukumya said the rampant corruption that has rocked the party’s adoption process had disadvantaged the local people who had no money to bribe the constituency and district officials.He said that so many people had complained of the rampant corruption at the constituency and district levels of the party.Mr Kasukumya was Deputy Minister in the MMD government and Lufwanyama MP, but he is now a staunch UPND member.”They have complained of huge sums of money having exchanged hands in the process resulting in candidates with money being aided by the officials to be favourites at the expense of the locals (Lambas), who don’t find any value in corrupting their own brothers and sisters to that extent.Mr Kasukumya said […]
