By GRACE CHAILE LESOETSALUSAKA businessman Valden Findlay has agreed with Chishimba Kambwili to have the Lusaka High Court enter consent judgment in a matter in which he sued the opposition leader seeking damages for accusing him of being a drug dealer and using the Presidential jet to traffic drugs.In this matter, Mr Findlay is seeking an order of injunction restraining Mr Kambwili or his agents from uttering any defamatory remarks concerning him.In his statement of claim filed in September of 2019, Mr Findlay stated that his reputation and character as a prominent businessman had been damaged as he has been labeled a drug dealer and trafficker.But according to an application filed into court this month, the two now want the court to enter a consent judgement in favour of Mr Findlay on specific terms that he is not and has never been an associate in international drug dealing.It was concluded that the two agreed that […]
