Thu, 03 Nov 2016 13:24:13 +0000 MINISTER of Finance, Felix Mutati has dissolved the governing board of the Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) with immediate effect. According to Ministry of Finance head of media and public relations, Chileshe Kandeta, the action was taken by the minister in accordance with the ZRA Act. Mr Mutati’s decision was in accordance with the ZRA Act CAP 321 Section 10 (1) and the Constitution of Zambia Chapter 2 on the Interpretation and General Provisions “I have dissolved the current Zambia Revenue Authority Board but a new board will soon be reconstituted,” he said. The Minister has thanked the outgoing board for their dedication to duty during turbulent times for the Zambian and world economy and wished them well in their future endeavours.
