ZESCO spokesperson Henry Kapata said so far 60 percent of the works had been done on the 33/66kv substation. Speaking in an interview with the Daily Nation, Mr Kapata said the US$38 million project started last year in December and he remained optimistic that the project would be completed by 2019. He explained that the new substation would have a transformer capacity of 180 Mega volt amp.
