And Zambia through ZESCO has assumed the presidency of the Association of Power Utilities of Africa (APUA) held by Angola for the last three years. Speaking at a joint media briefing he addressed with outgoing president, Engineer Jose Antonio Neto of Angola at Avani Victoria Falls Resort in Livingstone on Monday, Mr Mundende said Zambia experienced several challenges in the past two years due to power deficit The briefing was held ahead of the 19th APUA Congress to be officially opened by President Edgar Lungu on today.
