The ZDDM said it was surprising that Mr Kambwili was calling for tribal balancing when the National Democratic Congress (NDC) was already fashioned to support tribalistic tendencies. ZDDM President Edwin Sakala said the composition of the NDC from its inception did not reflect a party that was inclusive of all tribes. Mr Sakala told the Daily Nation that the foundation of every political party was important for the philosophy and principles it would eventually subscribe to.
