The two-time bronze medalists Zambia are pitted among the favourites to win the championship together with hosts Zimbabwe. Coach Albert Kachinga said the Shepolopolo will come into the game with the target to pick a win against Malawi. Kachinga feels he has assembled a strong squad that can go as far as the final. “The team is ready and we are aiming for a win. We will respect our opponents but at the same time fight for victory. The girls are mentally and physically ready for the match,” he said.
