Beauty Hangoma, 20, was testifying in a case in which her mother Melody Mweemba, 37, of John Laing compound sued Roderick Changa, 25, of Linda compound for deflowering and impregnating her. When the claim was read, Changa denied the charge. Mweemba told Senior Court Magistrate Lewis Mumba sitting with Magistrate Abbyshine Michelo at Kanyama Local Court that her daughter, Beauty completed Grade 12 and that when she fell pregnant, she mentioned Changa being responsible.
