Tue, 27 Nov 2012 15:30:04 +0000 PF secretary-general Wynter Kabimba has been challenged to explain how he appointed Geoffrey Chumbwe as Lusaka Province chairperson when he was on police wanted list. SuspendedLusakaProvincechairman Davis Chama who wants Kabimba to shed light on the allegations against Mr Chumbwe said it was wrong to appoint an individual with a background that would affect the name of the party. Mr Chama wondered why Mr Kabimba had remained mute on the matter concerning Chumbwe who had been on the police wanted list for aggravated robbery. Senior PF officials have meanwhile also challenged theZambiapolice to state whether Mr Chumbwe had been cleared of his charges which involved robbery at the former Meridian Bank in 1994.
