This is revealed in a letter dated September 22 to Zambia Environmental Management Agency (ZEMA), responding to the group of individuals calling themselves “community members” who questioned the club’s relationship with the developer and licensing of the club. The letter signed by City of Lusaka FC chairperson of the board of trustees Christine Mulundika says that Forli which owns 59 percent shares in the club was committed to transforming Woodlands Stadium to a modern facility. “The passion and commitment shown by the developer can be appreciated from genuinely concerned stakeholders given the colossal amounts of investment made to approve the performance of the club,” the letter reads in part.
