Likezo Sitali of Makeni Villa was testifying in a case in which his wife, Irene Simasiku, 28, a Security Guard sued him for divorce. The two got married in 2008 and have one child. Simasiku told Senior Court Magistrate Mubukwanu Matakala sitting with Magistrates Abbyshine Michelo and Esther Mulomba at Kanyama Local Court that all was well and that Sitali was working at Armco Security but he was jailed in 2010 for five years and that when he was freed in 2015 he started beating her that she was coming home late where she was working as a maid.
